Abstract
The mini-symposium aims at providing new insights in modelling, analysis and design of ultrasmall structures and multiscale materials. New developments concerning structural behaviour involving size effects and multiple characteristic scale lengths are welcome. Achievements regarding unconventional responses of innovative structures and nanocomposites, from theoretical, computational and experimental perspectives, should be considered in the field of interest.
