MS19 - Advances in turbulent flows with drops and bubbles
Contatto: alessio.roccon@uniud.it
Abstract
Turbulent flows laden with large, deformable drops or bubbles are ubiquitous in environmental and industrial processes. Prediction of the interactions between drops (or bubbles), which deform under the action of turbulence, exchange momentum via surface tension are complicated by the wide range of scales involved. The aim of the proposed mini symposium is to collect the most recent developments in the field of turbulent flows laden with drops and bubbles and interface-dominated flows.
